Comprising six, intricately-designed plazas, the Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai is the largest, themed shopping centre in the Middle East. Based on the amazing travels of legendary 14th Century Muslim explorer Ibn Battuta, MTE Studios designed each court to the exact period architectural style of the destinations he visited.
The six grand courts - Andalusia, Tunisia, Persia, India and China - each feature unique, integrated icon exhibits from the "1000 Years of Knowledge Rediscovered" exhibition on Muslim scientists, inventors and adventurers. The result is an exciting and inspiring space where history enhances the retail environment through edutainment.
